At Sunnyslope Ranch we grow three varieties of apricots.  They are Gold Bar, Rival and Tilton.  Our Gold Bars ripen around the 1st of July.  They are large, with a wonderful blush and a tasty apricot flavor.  The second apricots to ripen are the Rivals.  Like the Gold Bars, they are large.  They have an orange-rose coloring and are quite juicy.  Tiltons are a traditional apricot.  They are more yellow-orange with minimal blushing, smaller in size and the strongest in apricot taste.  Tiltons are wonderful eaten fresh, or if you do home canning, make jam or dry your fruits, Tiltons are the best.  Apricots are full of beta-carotene and healthy fiber.

Apriums are a cross between apricots and plums.  They are more like apricots in looks and have the slight tang of a plum.  We grow the Flavor Delight variety of aprium.  It is large, orange-rose in color, and sweet with just a slight tang that makes it so refreshing on a hot summer's day.
