At Sunnyslope Ranch we currently have four varieties of nectarines in production.  They are June Glo, Summer Beaut, Sun Glo and Red Gold.   In the Spring of 2008 we planted two new varieties.  They are Red Supreme and Summer Flare.

Our nectarine harvest begins around the second week of July and currently lasts through the end of August.  When the Summer Flares begin production, our harvest will be extended into the middle of September.

Nectarines are a wonderful fruit.  They have a sweet tangy flavor that is refreshing.  Nectarines work well in salads, grilled, and in salsas.
